Hey there! Let me tell you about this awesome outdoor family session I had with this amazing family, their three kids and their adorable dog Lacie, she totally added more fun to your day.
First off, the weather was a bit cold but it was sunny and beautiful at The Presidio , a photographer friend told me about this great dog friendly spot that had plenty of space for the kids to run around and play with the dog. I loved the fact that we were in the city but were able to shoot at this secluded little “forest” with all the greenery and tall trees that made for some amazing photos of their lovely family.
These kids had been in front of the camera before so they were naturals and it was super cute to see them love on eachother, which is not so usual between siblings. And the dog? Oh my goodness, Lacie was in her element, she kept us busy and really wanted to explore around and say hi to all the other dogs we saw.
I love getting some candids of the whole family, walking, snuggling, playing and also some of mom and dad with each kid and I have to say, they all looked absolutely stunning. The parents put a lot of thought into their outfits, and it definitely paid off, the colors and casual style worked amazingly and it didn’t clash with all the surrounding nature around us.
This is what family sessions are all about, having a good time with your favorite people somewhere pretty and with good lighting.I love being able to capture these special moments for families, and it’s even better when we can all have some fun while doing it.
